The town of Nerano extends downstream, on the slopes of the San Costanzo mountains, in a suggestive and wild environment.
Often the toponym "Nerano" actually refers to Marina del Cantone, the seaside village that can be reached by crossing the village of Nerano.
The small village is characterized by colorful houses and pergolas, which fit harmoniously into the landscape of this area. It develops around the church of Gesù Salvatore which probably dates back to the 15th century. The square next to the church is the meeting place for local children and young people.
A few meters from the square begins the panoramic path that leads to the Bay of Ieranto.
The village square is a welcoming refreshment point for swimmers and hikers. There are two bars, a restaurant, delicatessens and convenient parking.
